Following the Altamont performance from the 1969 tour, which celebrated its 40th anniversary last year, this is the release of the same tour. Disc 1 contains the performance at Phoenix Coliseum in Arizona on November 11th, recorded by the low generation master. This is a sound source that has hardly been covered since the discontinuation of "Gathering Madness" (VGP), so it is a timely release for those who have not yet obtained it. The recording position is very close to the PA, and there are some slightly boomy parts, but the sound quality balance of the original tape is not tampered with, and the sound is made to make the most of the low generation's unique low generation's low hiss noise.
Disc 2 contains all the songs from the performance at Olympia Stadium in Detroit on November 24th, which also has few CDs, recorded from a stereo audience sound source, which was rare at the time. Although it feels a bit distant, it is a documentary of a memorable performance that marked the start of the second half of the tour, which is unexpectedly clear and easy to listen to.
Since the last three songs of the Phoenix performance on Disc 1 were not originally recorded, the margins are recorded with three tracks, intro, JJF, and Carol, from the December 6th Altamont performance, from the first appearance source B, and THE SUN IS SHINING from the first appearance sound board source.
