The world tour titled "A BIGGER BANG" began on August 21, 2005 at Fenway Park in Boston, and after the North American performance, a Far East tour including a performance in Japan was held in the spring of 2006.
The Japan performance was five performances from March 22 to April 5, 2006.
A performance in Shanghai was also held on April 8, but some songs were not performed due to the lyrics. In the summer of 2006, the band toured Europe, returned to North America in the fall, and took a short break with a performance in Canada in November. The following year, the tour ended with a European tour from spring to summer 2007.
Over three years, the band performed a total of 147 shows, attracting 4.68 million people. They set a world record at the time, bringing in box office revenue of over $500 million.
