The TV program footage that was broadcast overseas to coincide with the release of CAROLE KING's 1982 album "ONE TO ONE" is finally available on DVD-R with Japanese subtitles! A Japanese version video was once released, but despite its valuable content, it has not yet been made into a DVD-R (the Japanese version video seems to be traded at a high price on a certain auction site), so the content is truly GREAT. A total of 17 songs, about 60 minutes, consisting of valuable footage of her looking back on her career in a relaxed atmosphere at home, telling behind-the-scenes stories and secrets of her past hits while singing and playing the piano on the spot, and footage of her live performance in the studio.
The live performance in a small live studio where she talks to the audience is full of realism. The set list is also a convincing selection. Starting with "Jazzman", the classic "Tapestry", "CHAINS" and "I FEEL THE EARTH" made famous by the BEATLES, and other hit songs are all included. The most touching tracks are "SO FAR AWAY," sung in front of dozens of lit candles, and the last two tracks, "(YOU MAKE ME FEEL LIKE) A NATURAL WOMAN" and "YOU'VE GOT A FRIEND."
This is a title that Carole fans around the world have been waiting for to be reissued (on DVD-R).
